SUMMARY
This study covered Abbasid first period that has important place for learling historical statue of Muslim women. To make historical connection between conditions of woman before Abbasid Period first Islamic Area was mentioned. Islamic essential principles were given due to the Abbasid Islamic structure. It was used Analytic History Method. Hence, the condition of mentioned period of woman was tried to bring out generally. For obtain information aboat this periot; religions, cultural, social, political, moral, scientific aspects were examined. Gained information was evaluated basing on principles of Methology of history. Thus, this study was benefit from Pragmatic History Methodology anmd with "admonition philosophy" angle. With this way, reasons of bad situation of Muslim woman at last century can be comprehended easier.
All sources were examined and documented and then harvested. After doing all of this activity, it was seen that many of studies on this topic had foreign origins. Therefore, it can be said that there was a necessity to know deeper for Muslim-Turk people about this subject. It means there is a necessity to work on this subject by researchers. The First Period of Abbasids is very significant age for Muslim cultural and civilizational developments. Kinds of institutes and sciences shaped in this period. In the course of time, all of this things improved and caused to European Civilization. During this period muslim woman take place with men low level.
Especially, female slave was more influential than free woman at these activities. It is worth to note that chosen period of woman conditional changes depends on directly state wealth position. Until tenth caliph Mütevekkil, woman has benefitied huge freedom. However, during this period only palace circle woman had this kind of rights. It was not met any ordinary woman obtained high position in science, art or music. Arabic self-respect did not degenerate yet so Arabic cultured women could speak with men without hesitation. This kind of women respects herself mutually men respect them. Harem Practice started caliph el-Kadir Billah days exactly so there was no Harem at first period. Therefore social fields opened for woman and they showed a lot of beneficial functions on politicial base.
Wealthy days of this period there was degeneration in social life. Apperance of this degeneration in Abbasid state can be drawn up as luxury, squandering and go beyond religious limits. Abbasids' widespread lunatic assembles brought into being moral collapse. Due to the influence of Iranian on clothes formal clothe changed and Islamic line left. Changing in clothes of woman caused backwardness and collapse of woman position in social life. Consequently, woman faultiness started in this century while woman had socialy best position.
